I purchased what I thought was a one time background check for 29.95. Little did I know, I was signing up for a monthly service.

The email I received was worded as follows: "Your order has been placed and your order number is A-SXXXXXXXX. Your receipt is available in the Purchases and Billing page of your account." To me, this clearly indicates a single purchase, not a monthly subscription. When I called, they indicated that although there is no information in the confirmation email, that this information can be found on their website under terms of service. Why would I look at the terms of service for a monthly subscription if I did not think that this is what I'm buying?

How is it a monthly subscription if it's only one time use?

This is clearly set up to deceive the casual buyer. Buyer beware.
